Gremolata

One thing I love about summer is all the fresh herbs.  It is amazing the flavor punch you can add to a dish with a few snips out of your garden.  Gremolata is a summer favorite here.  I made a simple version of it for my family while I was home and it ended up on

the flank steak...

and the baguette....

Gremolata

Zest of one lemon
Juice of one lemon
3 cloves of garlic, mined
2 TBS of olive oil
1/4 cup onion, finely diced
1/4 cup of fresh mint, chopped
1/4 cup of fresh basil, chopped
1 TBS of Italian Parsley

Combine all the ingredients.  Let this sit for a couple hours before serving, I promise it only gets better with time.  Enjoy!
