Barefoot Jambalaya

We had some dear friends and family over for dinner.  I wanted to make something that I could start ahead of time and would just get better as it waited for us to be ready to eat.  This jambalaya recipe was a hit!  It had all the elements I think should be in a jambalaya...smoky flavor, shrimp, and rich tomato.  It is a shrimp and sausage version.  Even my brother-in-law who travels to Mississippi often gave it high marks.

I followed the recipe exactly.  Check it out, I am sure you won't be disappointed.  Enjoy!
