Goat Cheese & Tomato Tartines

Need a quick appetizer to take to a friend's house or for surprise guests?

Love goat cheese just like me?

Then this little delight is for you!  It is breath-taking!  

Goat Cheese & Tomato Tartines

4 oz of goat cheese, room tempature
3 TBS of fresh basil, chopped
5 slices of GOOD bread, cut on a angle
1 large tomato, cut into half moon slices
1 TBS of chives, chopped
1/4 tsp of fresh cracked black pepper

Combine the goat cheese and basil.  Spread over each piece of bread.  Top with 2 half moon slices of tomato.  Garnish with chives and black pepper.  Enjoy!
